Open Chord ("the App") is developed and published by OAK TEK FZCO ("we", "us", "our"). This policy explains how the App handles your information.
Data we collect
Open Chord is designed with privacy in mind. The App stores all user data — including your chord progress, tuner settings, and preferences — locally on your device using localStorage. We do not operate a backend server and do not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on our systems.
Advertising
Open Chord displays ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect certain device and usage data to serve relevant advertisements. This data is handled according to Google's privacy policy. You can review Google's advertising privacy practices at policies.google.com/privacy.
Third-party services
The App uses the following third-party services:

We do not use analytics, crash reporting, or any other third-party tracking services.
Data storage and security
All app data is stored locally on your device. If you uninstall the App or clear its data, all stored information will be permanently deleted. We have no ability to access, recover, or restore your local data.
Children's privacy
Open Chord is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
